TEXAS WINTER STORM:
On February 14 Texas got hit by an unusual Snow Storm and we got hit hard. Although the animals acted like statues in the snow they got used to walking around in the snow. We have decided to raise chickens. We purchased these Egyptian Fayoumi Chickens. The reason we chose this breed of chicken is because they are the best breed for free range. 2021 ANNUAL SHEARING:
End of March was our annual Shearing Day! With the help of our team and Right Choice Shearing it went very smooth. All (11) camelids got their coats shorn off and are now ready for the summer.
Llama's are shorn from our shearing stand in the up right position due to their size. Our Alpaca's are shorn on the ground and are flipped from side to side.
