What's Been Happening?

On Monday, 30 Aug Uno the pig was not acting normal. He was very lethargic and restless. We reached out to his donor family and got their advice they thought maybe he was overheated and recommended that we cool him down immediately. We watered him down we gave him gator aid and lots of water but then we noticed that Uno was hunching up his back and trying to urinate but nothing would come o
Uno has emergency surgery:
Not only did Uno have a full bladder and at risk of rupturing his bladder but Dr Kirkpatrick felt a stone lodged at the tip of his penis. Uno was in great danger.
This is the stone that was at the tip of Uno's bladder blocking all his urine flow. The stone is a bit larger then a pea and was not going to pass on it's own.
Wednesday 1 Sept Update:
Today Uno is still a bit sore, eating well, but very cautious of taking in too much water. He is able to eliminate his bladder on his own which is a very good sign to his recovery. We will continue to monitor him
